'Brent: End of an Era', an in-house production by Content Engine @ Shell, is a fascinating documentary that marks the life and final days of Brent Charlie, the fourth and final platform to be decommissioned at the Brent field. Using archive footage the film pays tribute to Brent Charlie’s contribution to the British economy, as well as interviewing crew members. Some footage was shot by those on the platform (due to Coronavirus shooting restrictions), making the footage even more authentic. The film captures the emotional moment that the longest serving crew-member shuts down production for good.
